Bill Lonero:

In the world of music Bill Lonero is not cool, if cool means following trends and using computers to create songs. Not only does Bill play instrumental guitar (which by its own intrinsic value is not trendy) but he does even this different from the pack. Not concerned with 5 minute solos and constant time changes he is more concerned with writing a good song then impressing people. If that means a song has no solo and is just acoustic guitar then so be it. He also strayed from using computers in the recording process for his new cd Slather. All guitar parts were recorded all the way through with no cutting and pasting, editing or punch-ins. In short he sacrificed speed of recording for integrity of music.

Bill began playing guitar at the age of 12, Angus Young being his first and biggest influence in terms of guitar and attitude. Bill has proved to be very versatile in many styles with the likes of his solo music offerings. He has also played and recorded with arguably some of the greatest musicians to date, He has done various recordings and clinics with Stu Hamm (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai), Gigi Gonaway (Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder), Mike Mangini (Extreme, Steve Vai), Polo Jones (Whitney Houston, Eric Clapton, Zucchero), Marqhuino Brasil (Mariah Carey, Craig Chaquico), and he still tours with his live band including drummer Brice Busch.
